Gameplay
Manager
Players manage their own club (and its team) and compete in 'competitions' using a graphical user interface. Players can train and improve their squad, invest in improvements to the pitch, stadium or players' dressing rooms, purchase players, upgrade equipment, move the team into a new stadium (or move the stadium to the team), add new players to the team, or sell the players.
Players can manage and manage their squad by setting their preferred formation, on-the-fly changing their tactics on the field, and adjusting play with the use of a detailed technical notebook. On-the-field management involves capturing, possession, defending and attacking in real time with game-like graphics.
League
The overall league standings are ranked and a player's team is taken into account when ranking other players in the same league. A match between two clubs in the same league is a league match, but a match between clubs in different leagues is a 'global match'.
Clubs
New players are available to the manager at any time. In-depth scouting reports are available on all clubs and players.
Competitions
The manager can enter either the 'Premier League' or the 'Division' and compete in season-long competitions. The manager can form his team in the'starting XI' or'squad'. If the manager forms his team in the starting XI, the manager's in-game management choices and tactics are then fixed, and the player's formation, physical fitness and in-game team selection choices are not relevant. If the manager forms his team in the'squad', the manager's in-game management choices and tactics are then fixed, but the player's formation, physical fitness and in-game team selection choices are relevant.
